| Complex Electronic Systems | Customer-Facing Design Role

An established and highly respected electronic design and manufacturing firmis looking to appoint a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the development of innovative, real-world products across Medical Devices, Automation/Industrial and Renewable Energy products.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role in a fast-paced design services environment where youll take concepts from early-stage feasibility through to full production.

The Role

Youll be responsible for the design and delivery of advanced electronic systems across a broad range of technically challenging projects.

You will:

  • Lead digital and analogue electronic system design
  • Deliver schematic capture, PCB design and simulation
  • Design microcontroller-based systems
  • Support prototype build, verification and transfer to manufacture
  • Engage directly with customers on technical solutions
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready documentation

What Were Looking For

15+ years experience developing electronic systems

Strong digital and analogue design capability

PCB design and schematic capture experience

Strong problem-solving mindset

High-speed digital and power supply design

RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet

Wireless / RF (WiFi, BLE, RFID)

EMC testing and failure analysis

Regulated environments
