Overview

Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Contracts Lawyer available on a full-time basis (Monday‑Friday/35 hours). We are looking to recruit a dynamic Contracts Lawyer with a ‘can do’ approach and an interest in learning new skills to join our fantastic Contracts Team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a large and varied caseload consisting of strategically significant procurements as well as contracts and governance matters.
  • Collaborate with staff and colleagues across the Council and with local partners.
  • Apply strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail and forge productive working relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
  • Minimum of 5 years PQE and proven expertise in contracts and procurement law in a local authority environment.
  • Right to work in the UK.
