Job Overview

Lead the HR team with day to day HR activities. Manage Long Term Sickness from welfare meetings through to returning to work/medical termination. Dealing with HR queries. Process weekly payroll hours for a selection of the workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, support and offer guidance in absence reviews and write outcome letters.
  • Schedule, support and offer guidance in grievance reviews and write outcome letters.
  • Schedule, support and offer guidance in disciplinary meetings and write outcome letters.
  • Run various reports using the Time & Attendance System to produce information for the team and management.
  • Refer colleagues to Occupational Health and deal with follow up meetings.
  • Produce KPI reports on a weekly basis.
  • Assist the HR Manager with projects.
  • Coach and develop Leaders that will improve performance and create a more engaged team and allow leaders to manage their own teams.
  • Act as a champion to promote a culture that inspires colleagues to perform their highest potential, whilst ensuring the people plans are in place for future business opportunities enhancing career development and colleague engagement.
  • Maintain excellent communication within the team.
  • Ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues.
  • Report any Health & Safety issues to the Management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proven track record of Senior HR Advisor experience.
  • IT literate.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Up to CIPD level 5 and/or relevant experience.
