Job Overview
Lead the HR team with day to day HR activities. Manage Long Term Sickness from welfare meetings through to returning to work/medical termination. Dealing with HR queries. Process weekly payroll hours for a selection of the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in absence reviews and write outcome letters.
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in grievance reviews and write outcome letters.
- Schedule, support and offer guidance in disciplinary meetings and write outcome letters.
- Run various reports using the Time & Attendance System to produce information for the team and management.
- Refer colleagues to Occupational Health and deal with follow up meetings.
- Produce KPI reports on a weekly basis.
- Assist the HR Manager with projects.
- Coach and develop Leaders that will improve performance and create a more engaged team and allow leaders to manage their own teams.
- Act as a champion to promote a culture that inspires colleagues to perform their highest potential, whilst ensuring the people plans are in place for future business opportunities enhancing career development and colleague engagement.
- Maintain excellent communication within the team.
- Ensure a safe working environment is kept for all colleagues.
- Report any Health & Safety issues to the Management.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Proven track record of Senior HR Advisor experience.
- IT literate.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Team player.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Attention to detail.
- Up to CIPD level 5 and/or relevant experience.
