About the Role
Coventry House Project Supported Accommodation is seeking a Young Person Facilitator. The role involves working with the National House Project in Coventry to support young people transitioning from care to independent living.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group support to young people, including home visits.
- Collaborate with social care, education, health, housing and other agencies to ensure young people’s views drive decision‑making.
- Engage with the National House Project, attend Community of Practice meetings, training and conferences.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience working with young people who are transitioning and leaving care into independence.
- Experience delivering one‑to‑one support, group sessions and conducting home visits.
- Understanding of the challenges that care leavers face.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Conditional appointment on a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 clearance.
