We are currently working with an innovative and fast-growing engineering organisation within the maritime and offshore sector, who are seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business at the forefront of emissions monitoring technology, supporting global efforts to reduce environmental impact within the shipping industry.
Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, this role offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile projects for leading shipyards and offshore clients worldwide. Unfortunately, Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester (Hybrid working – 2 days per week WFH)
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm, Friday: 8am – 2:30pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 p.a. + Company Benefits
Responsibilities
- Supporting the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Preparing installation drawings, schematics, and technical documentation packages.
- Developing project plans, methods of work, and risk assessments (including HAZID).
- Assisting with the installation of mechanical and electrical systems on ocean‑going vessels and offshore assets.
- Working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with offshore and marine environments.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of project processes, systems, and documentation.
- Supporting project lifecycle activities from planning and preparation through to execution and completion.
Qualifications
- Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of CAD software, ideally AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience within marine or offshore environments would be advantageous but not essential.
