About the Role
Our growing and evolving transfer pricing team is looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to further expand our transfer pricing service line offering. You should have a solid foundation of providing transfer pricing advice across a variety of industries and sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, friendly team and to develop this role and our client base further. The role has arisen due to increasing demand for transfer pricing services from our growing portfolio of international entrepreneurial clients requiring transfer pricing solutions.
You should have practical experience in advising on the UK’s transfer pricing legislation. Candidates who also have a broad knowledge of international corporate tax principles will find this a challenging and rewarding role.

Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and deliver our transfer pricing projects on technical input, resource requirements and costs, reporting into the transfer pricing director.
- Have broad practical and theoretical transfer pricing experience across a range of sectors and industries, including practical experience of advising and implementing the various transfer pricing methods. Financial services experience is not a requirement as we have specialists/can provide training.
- Deliver practical and robust transfer pricing advice to our client base and deliver TP design and documentation projects to a high standard, for sign off by the transfer pricing director.
- Be experienced with advising on intellectual property transactions including DEMPE analysis, business restructuring and operational transfer pricing solutions.
- Work with the transfer pricing director and tax partners to grow our transfer pricing service line offering in our regions, being jointly engaged in building our pipeline of opportunities.
- Assist with proposals, budgets and developing new work streams for transfer pricing both internally and externally within our regions, including the audit of transfer pricing.
- Proactively project manage the delivery of transfer pricing solutions for our client base, including multi‑territory projects.
- Work with and build relationships with the wider client service teams in your region.
- Train, coach and help to develop the junior members of the transfer pricing team.
- Lead on the financial management of your portfolio and proactively manage this. Work with a network of specialists worldwide across our international network.
- Respond proactively to client and partner needs, ensuring effective and consistent communication with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
The role would suit a qualified individual with several years post‑qualification experience in transfer pricing.
- Have strong and relevant transfer pricing experience in complex transactions, including intellectual property, business restructuring and operational transfer pricing solutions and the use of technology in transfer pricing.
- Have a broad practical experience delivering transfer pricing solutions to your client base and a background in international taxation.
- Have practical experience in advising on the UK’s transfer pricing legislation for debt and HMRC’s guidance on thin capitalisation, agreement of ATCAs.
- Have sound knowledge of the UK’s Corporate Interest Restriction legislation. Candidates who also have a broad knowledge of international corporate tax principles will find this a rewarding role.

- Be able to flex your advice in a client scenario to the size of the client.
- Be able to see the bigger picture around the client’s commercial fact pattern.
- Support partners and directors with aspects of leadership.
- Proactively develop internal and external relationships and demonstrate successful networking in previous roles.
- Manage and deliver projects to the Transfer Pricing Director for sign off.
- Develop your projects from the proposal stage, with assistance from the team, managing them to budget.
- Have a broad general international tax background, as well as a robust foundation and experience in transfer pricing for asset managers.
- Should be educated to degree level or equivalent, hold either ACA/CTA/ADIT/law qualification or international equivalents.
