Advice Quality Specialist

Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid: 3 days in our Derby office, 2 days from home.

Salary up to £27,000 plus benefits.

About the Role

As part of our Advice Quality Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality, compliant advice. Taking ownership of your work, you’ll carry out second-line file reviews of Mortgage Adviser business, helping to maintain our industry-leading standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review Adviser files using our structured framework, ensuring the right customer outcomes are achieved
  • Identify risks, trends and opportunities to enhance advice quality
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance on remedial actions
  • Work collaboratively with Advisers, Business Owners and colleagues to drive continuous improvement
  • Support a culture of learning and development by sharing best practice

About You

You’ll bring a strong foundation in mortgage regulation, along with a proactive, detail-focused approach. Just as importantly, you’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where you can challenge constructively and support others to succeed.

Qualifications

  • Hold a CeMAP qualification (essential)
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements within the mortgage advice industry
  • Takes ownership, uses sound judgement to make confident decisions
  • Strong eye for detail and can identify potential risks
  • Manages time effectively to meet review targets
  • Builds positive relationships across all levels
  • Communicates with professionalism and integrity
  • Hold or is working towards CeRER (desirable)
