Transport Planner

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join a fast‑paced and dynamic transport operation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of daily transport activities.

Shift Pattern

4 days on / 4 days off12‑hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling vehicles and drivers to meet operational requirements
• Monitoring transport activity to ensure on‑time and efficient deliveries
• Managing driver hours and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
• Handling any issues or delays and implementing effective solutions
• Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Maintaining accurate records and using transport planning systems effectively

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics role
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a time‑critical environment
• Good knowledge of driver hours and transport compliance
• Strong communication and IT skills
