Are you a highly organised creative operations manager used to working in an agile environment across finance, hr, compliance and legal support? Our client is a strategy and ideas agency working with Gen Z in the music, entertainment and broadcast industry. Working with over 200 + gen z influencers they are looking for a switched on multi tasker to support their team. This is a part time role 4 days a week with ideally 1-2 days onsite in their central London studio and 2-3 days remote. Initially on a 6 month FTC but with a view to continue if successful you will be part of their team and have a pro rata salary (£36-40k pro rata) along with benefits.

We’re looking for a highly organised and reliable Operations Manager. Reporting to the Founder / Director, you’ll be a critical part of the smooth running of the day-to-day business, empowering all our teams.

The majority of the work will be in UK office hours, with occasional evenings needed to cover calls with US-based teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Accounting admin: budgets, bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll and payments
  • Project management: allocating people and resources
  • Liaising with clients and freelancers about the details of projects
  • Co-ordinating the recruitment, onboarding and management of freelancers
  • Helping to ensure compliance with legal requirements and professional standards
  • Some diary management: scheduling creative workshops and focus groups, and co-ordinating with participants
  • Reviewing and improving internal systems to reduce bottlenecks
  • Research, planning and outreach for business development
  • Leading the company’s impact and sustainability assessment, including collecting data and developing formal policies, with a performance bonus due on successful completion of the project

This would suit an experienced operations manager, someone with experience in project management and finance from a creative studio, agency or inhouse design department. Anyone with experience in market research, overseeing freelancers, working with young people, producing creative work aimed at young audiences, FreeAgent accounting software, knowledge and understanding of trends with Gen Z & Gen Alpha audiences would be advantageous as well as an understanding of social media and brand strategy, recruitment and business development and any event/work shop experience.
