Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Transport Planners to join our teams in London, Bristol, Cardiff, and Manchester. You will play a key role in delivering projects with the Transport Planning team and cross‑disciplinary colleagues. Key responsibilities include advising on site access, transport strategies, accessibility, sustainability, policy, informing site layouts, and preparing transport assessments, travel plans, and transport chapters of environmental statements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Appropriately qualified with a relevant degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a motivated, self‑starter attitude.
- Experience leading or supporting the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans, transport chapters of environmental statements, and delivery and servicing plans.
- Desirable experience of AutoCAD and vehicle tracking within highways/infrastructure design.
- Similar career or work experience, ideally in a consultancy.
- Knowledgeable of transport planning policy and guidance.
- Attention to detail and passion for transport planning.
- 2–3 years’ experience as a transport planner, ideally in a similar consultancy environment.
- Commercial awareness and basic understanding of project finances.
- Appreciation of current transport planning policies and key issues.
- Experience of preliminary highway design and/or junction modelling software desirable.
