Operational Events Manager – Hampshire

Responsibilities
As Operational Events Manager you will play a hands‑on role with overall responsibility for delivering excellent service in a fast‑paced quality C&E operation, covering weddings, client events and small meetings. Your duties include:
- Working closely with General Manager and Sales Manager
- Oversee all operational aspects of events from planning to execution
- Lead and manage a large variable team
- Manage budgets, coordinate logistics and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Liaise with clients to understand their event objectives and needs
- Compile rotas in line with budget and business needs
- Conduct post‑event evaluations to assess success and identify improvement areas
Who You Are
- Have knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality industry
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Flexible regarding working hours
- Able to work in a pressurised environment and multi‑task
