Job Overview
Teledyne Energetics UK is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality management system and quality control/engineering activities. The role requires managing a team of quality professionals, delivering performance data, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality plan, environmental and sustainability objectives, targets, and action plans are measured and managed at every organisational level.
- Maintain Quality and Environmental Management Systems to comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Develop and implement procedures and new ISO standards as needed to meet business and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with department leads to develop a risk-based quality assurance plan aligned with contract and customer requirements.
- Produce quality performance monitoring reports for management review and customer performance reporting schedules.
- Provide specialist support for root-cause analysis workshops for defect/problem trends identified in reviews or monitoring.
- Support customer and certification body audits of the organisation.
- Lead internal quality engineering activities to ensure timely assessments of existing and potential suppliers.
- Integrate quality, environment and sustainability standards into new business processes, products, and services through effective NPI management.
- Facilitate customer satisfaction surveys, analyse findings, take action and report outcomes as agreed.
- Provide status updates to Corporate Regulatory Compliance where applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a quality management role, including team leadership of quality assurance and quality engineering professionals.
- Expert knowledge of the application and development of processes to international management system standards, including AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Experience designing and implementing management systems certified to the above standards, with effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
