Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high‑rise residential development in Central London. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for programme delivery, commercial performance, health & safety, and stakeholder management from construction phase through to completion.

This role is suited to a strong construction professional with proven experience delivering multi‑storey residential schemes within the London market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day management of a high‑rise residential construction project
  • Oversee programme delivery to ensure milestones and completion dates are achieved
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Monitor project budgets, variations, risk, and commercial performance alongside the commercial team
  • Chair progress meetings and provide regular project reporting to senior management
  • Coordinate design, technical, and operational teams to resolve construction issues
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of the build
  • Drive productivity and maintain high standards of work on site
  • Support procurement and sequencing strategies to ensure efficient project delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
  • Proven ability to deliver high‑rise residential projects in London
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and programme management
  • Experience managing projects from structural frame through to handover
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a busy environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem‑solving capability
  • Relevant construction qualification (Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management or related discipline preferred)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications desirable
