About the Role
This position provides essential leadership to ShipBob’s first UK Inbound Hub. You will partner with onsite stakeholders to foster a positive work environment, ensure merchant satisfaction, and maintain efficient hub operational flow. You will implement strategies that increase productivity and enable the company to hit revenue goals and report to the Director of Inbound and Hub Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct hub operations, merchant support, and partner communication.
- Ensure merchant expectations are met and exceeded.
- Manage performance KPIs, track key metrics, and plan continuous improvement efforts.
- Use data‑driven reports and analyses to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
- Hire, train, coach, and motivate Hub Support Specialists; set and manage team goals.
- Establish, enforce, and monitor safety standards and procedures to comply with legal requirements.
- Share effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs with other locations and headquarters.
- Maintain operational processes—receiving, storage, handling, and shipping—ensuring safety, quality, and legality.
- Support adherence to SOPs and ensure timely escalation of product‑related issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of FHDS processes (preferred).
- Experience with safety procedures in a distribution center environment.
- Track record of ownership and delivering results.
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize independently.
- Ability to work independently without direct onsite supervision.
