Production Assembler

Our client is a well-established electronics manufacturer and is looking for a Production Assembler to support board-level assembly and box build activities.

This role suits someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

Work Arrangement and Compensation

• 8-12 week Temporary Assignment with an opportunity to go permanent
• £13.50-£14 per hour
• Monday- Thursday 7.30am-4pm. Friday 7.30am-1pm (37 hour week)
• Location: Waterlooville

Job Description

• PCBA assembly including SMT and PTH soldering
• Cable assembly using crimp tools
• Electro‑mechanical assembly
• Working from BOMs and technical drawings to meet required standards
• PCBA rework

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of IPC 610 and IPC 620 standards
• Competent in PTH/SMT soldering to at least IPC 610 Class 2
• Strong component recognition skills
• Experience working with fine‑pitch components under a microscope
• Able to manage and prioritise workload effectively
• Inspection experience is an advantage but not essential
