Press Brake Operator – Late Shift | £13.00-£16.00 per Hour + £1.00 Shift Allowance | Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company on a temp-to-perm basis, working a permanent Late Shift.
Shift Details
- Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 00:00
- Fridays Off
- Total: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate
- £13.00-£16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
- £1.00 per hour Late Shift Allowance
The Role
You will be responsible for setting and operating a press brake machine to produce high-quality components in line with production requirements and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating a press brake machine independently
- Carrying out tool changes and machine adjustments
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
- Measuring, inspecting, and identifying finished components
- Working to production priorities set by the Team Leader
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s experience operating a press brake (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable
- Experience operating Amada press brake machines is ideal but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
