I am a young 64-year-old lady that lives near Stranraer with my husband.
I am well looked after by my fabulous Personal Assistant and my amazing husband. I am however looking for someone to work 1 day per week to provide additional respite care to allow my husband to recharge his batteries. Holiday and sickness cover is required from the Personal Assistant.
I have been living with Brain Cancer for several years resulting in word finding difficulties, weakness down my right side and chronic fatigue especially during the afternoons. I am looking for someone that is reliable, patient and enjoys a chat. I am non-ambulant so you would be expected to make transfers via a Sara Stedy as necessary and prepare and serve light meals as necessary. If covering holidays or sickness working arrangements are based around a 7 hour day (Mon-Fri). Experience isn’t essential for this role. A suitable PVG is required but don’t worry if you don’t have one, I can support you in getting one.
