Social Worker Early Help Gloucestershire

An exciting opportunity for Social Worker to join the Early Help Team in the Gloucestershire area as a Senior Social Worker. You will be based in either the Stroud, Cirencester or Dursley offices all with good links with Cotswolds and the M5. 37 hours a week. 3 months contracts with a rate of £39ph for experienced workers. Flexible hybrid working arrangements. Possible extension in the future but maybe part time once backlog of reviews is cleared.

Responsibilities

• Case hold early help cases and carry out visits to families in Stroud and Cotswold.
• Assess, develop plans and provide interventions to support families.
• Assess children and step them up to social care if safeguarding concerns arise.
• Work in the Early Help Team and collaborate with other professionals.

Qualifications

• Social worker with assessment or CIN (Child in Need) experience.
• Registered in the Social Work England (SWE) Register.
• Experience using Liquid Logic (LCS and EHM) systems.
• Driver with access to own car and ability to reside and work in the UK.
