Permanent Social Worker – Supported Living Team, Learning Disability & Autism Service, Adult Social Care – Central Lancashire

Salary

£36,363 – £40,777

Description

This is an exciting time to join our service. We have launched Living Better Lives in Lancashire, our new strengths‑based vision for Adult Social Care. We embed innovative practice that makes a real difference to the lives of people in our communities. As a Social Worker you will support people to achieve what matters to them, living independently in a place they call home.

Responsibilities

  • Support people with learning disabilities to live good, independent and fulfilling lives in their communities.
  • Work in partnership with people, families and professionals to build on strengths, promote choice and control, and ensure support is person‑centred and outcome focused.
  • Collaborate and co‑produce outcomes with partners, community organisations, carers and the people we support.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered with Social Work England (SWE) or have applied to register.
  • Will be required to provide a car for use in relation to duties and must have commercial insurance.
  • Covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975; will be required to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
