Job Summary

The PMO support role performs a variety of activities to help achieve the portfolio’s objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling – help establish and maintain systems for effective planning and scheduling.
  • Monitoring and reporting – assist in maintaining portfolio controls and producing portfolio reports.
  • Admin – manage portfolio files using robust version control, organise key portfolio meetings and provide secretarial support.
  • Resources – manage staff as needed, including their development.
  • Stakeholder – help maintain the log for internal and external stakeholders and serve as the contact point for portfolio responses to external information requests.
  • Financial control – help monitor project spending, contribute to budget preparation and maintain an accurate asset register for the portfolio.
  • Risks and Issues – assist in maintaining risk and issue logs and escalates issues as necessary.
  • Digital and Data – collect and share data in line with data standards, use data analytics and digital tools to compile and present portfolio information that aids in monitoring progress and identifying potential issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience of organising teams, establishing processes and working to deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
