Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + discretionary annual performance bonus

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised, proactive and dependable Finance & Business Support Assistant to join our Head Office team.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Owner and Managing Director, supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced and growing business.
Reporting directly to the Owner, you will become a trusted member of the Head Office team, working across finance, business administration and strategic projects. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is looking to build a long-term career within a successful and expanding organisation.
This is far more than a traditional finance administration role. You’ll gain exposure to all areas of the business and play an important role in supporting the continued growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with monthly payroll.
- Monitor daily cash flow and maintain cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare supplier payment schedules and assist with payment planning.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payment arrangements.
- Support the Finance team with day-to-day administration.
- Produce reports and analyse data using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist with financial and operational projects.
- Follow up on key actions to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Support the Owner and Managing Director with business projects and ad hoc tasks.
- Work closely with senior management across multiple departments.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential information is handled professionally.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Is trustworthy, discreet and able to handle confidential information.
- Is proactive and enjoys solving problems.
- Has strong numerical skills and is confident using Microsoft Excel.
- Can prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes ownership of their work and sees tasks through to completion.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is eager to learn and develop within a growing business.
- Enjoys supporting others and being a dependable member of the team.
Previous experience in finance, payroll or business administration would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
