Salary: GBP14.47 per hour

JCB, the UK’s leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, is looking for Production Operatives to join us at our sites in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The roles offer a favourable hourly rate and a variety of shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in the assembly line, helping to put together construction equipment and vehicles while meeting KPI requirements.
• Maintain required performance and quality levels.
• Use hand and air tools competently.
• Load and unload vehicles, receive goods and store them appropriately.
• Participate in on‑site warehouse and operative training programmes.
• Execute additional processes after relevant training.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through problem, countermeasure and Kaizen activities.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, high accuracy, and a good record of time‑keeping and attendance.
• Previous assembly or mechanical experience desirable; full training provided.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts; shift allowances may be paid in addition to hourly rate.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
