Community Supper Club Kitchen Volunteer – Community Connex
Community Connex supports people with a learning disability, autistic people, those experiencing disadvantages, and their families to help them live healthier, happier and inclusive lives. We support people experiencing loneliness and social isolation and encourage all to be valued, listened to and included. We engage with communities to help people live fulfilled lives and put their experiences at the heart of our work.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare simple hot and cold meals (e.g., soups, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, stews).
- Set up the dining area to feel welcoming and accessible to all.
- Follow basic food hygiene and safety guidance (training provided).
- Work alongside staff and volunteers to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
- Tidy up at the end of the session with support from other volunteers.

Qualifications
- Someone who enjoys preparing food and sharing it with others.
- Friendly, reliable, and happy to support a community focused early evening session.
- Comfortable volunteering once a week or occasionally (flexible).
- No professional cooking experience required – just enthusiasm and kindness.
