Overview
As part of our supportive team you will develop and grow into delivering a great service within the Maintenance department. Together with the Maintenance Team Leader you will be fundamental to the smooth running of the guest journey from the moment each guest arrives.
Responsibilities
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting. Work independently to care for the maintenance of the building, ensuring all areas are fully functioning and looking their best. Use and maintain a range of equipment, including loose hand tools, power tools and door lock equipment.
Qualities and Qualifications
Be guest focused, always having a positive and problem solving attitude. A people person who puts the guest journey at the heart of everything they do and will look to support wherever needed. Previous experience as a maintenance technician is helpful but not essential; willingness to learn about maintenance in a large hotel is required.

Compensation
Pay rates: up to 12.21 per hour depending on age.
