Production Operator – Pontypool
£13.45 per hour | 6‑Month Project | Immediate Start Available | £1 (Apply online only) bonus upon successful completion of the project.
Nu Staff is recruiting Production Operators to join a well‑established manufacturing business based in Pontypool. This role will be a busy production environment on a 6‑month project running through December, with structured training, shift allowances, and a potential £1 (Apply online only) bonus payment upon successful completion of the project (subject to criteria being met).
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and assemble products to required quality standards.
- Operate machinery and production tools safely.
- Use hand and air‑fed tools including torque wrenches and sanders.
- Complete production and process documentation accurately.
- Carry out quality inspections and report concerns.
- Support stock movement and production line replenishment.
- Maintain clean and safe working areas.
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow SOPs and technical instructions.
- Good attention to detail and quality standards.
- Positive can‑do attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance.
- Team player with good communication skills.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMFriday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Shift Pattern (Optional)
Monday to Friday rotating shifts:6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rates
Increasing to £13.45 per hour on day shift£15.47 per hour on shift work
Location: Pontypool – must be able to commute reliably.
