Learning Support Assistant – Weybridge
Full‑time | From £107.41/day – September 2026 Roles
Are you a recent graduate passionate about criminal justice, mental health, or social care? This is your opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in our local school, supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), including ADHD, trauma, and neurodivergence.
Role
- Support students in the classroom and individual learning sessions
- Help students regulate emotions, build resilience, and re‑engage with education
- Use restorative practices to encourage positive behaviour
- Work alongside therapists and staff in a holistic, trauma‑informed environment
Ideal Candidates
- Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Youth Work or Social Sciences – or non‑graduates with relevant experience
- Individuals with a strong interest in justice, neurodiversity and restorative care
- Calm, empathetic communicators who value connection before content
Experience with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential – full training provided.
