Skilled Operator – PM Shift (Contract Position)

Own the night shift as a Skilled Operator at Yeo Valley Newton Abbot, contributing to the high‑quality production of single‑serve desserts and ice cream under the Yeo Valley brand and own label.

Working Hours & Contract

Shifts: 17:45–22:00 or 17:45–00:00, 7 days per week. Fixed‑term contract until 12 December 2026. Both part‑time and full‑time hours available.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety and quality requirements.
• Pack well‑known products.
• Operate a variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming, CNC).
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivery, lead by example, and complete paperwork accurately.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Take apart, clean, and rebuild production equipment.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience operating filling, packing, forming, or CNC machines.
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy for documentation and record‑keeping.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Highly engaged and a good team player.
• Can work unsupervised.
