About The Role
Role: Weekend Home Care Assistant
Location: Yeovil, Martock and the surrounding areas
Pay: £13.50 per hour PLUS travel time and petrol expenses
Hours: Part time hours – Weekends only
Shift Pattern: 07:00 – 14:00 and/or 16:00 – 22:00
Care South, a leading not for profit charity, offers Home Care Assistant positions in Somerset Care at Home. The role is community based and requires a driving licence and a vehicle. Travel time and mileage at 40p per mile are paid.

- Assisting with personal care such as personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing
About you
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible with hours and able to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the annual update service or prepared to undertake one
