Science Teacher – SEND

Overview

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND School in North Nottinghamshire who is looking for a full time Science teacher to join them on a permanent basis teaching children and young people aged between the ages of 9 and 17.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people.




• Create a positive learning environment that supports children and young people’s educational and personal growth.




• Contribute to an environment where pupils and staff experience a positive and enriching school life.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)




• Experience in teaching Science as a specialism




• A qualification in SEND education is desirable.




• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
