Job Summary

Salary: OTE up to £62,000 plus Veolia benefits. Daily meal allowance per day worked. Single person daily allowance, dependent on route.

Hours: Up to 48 hours per week, Monday – Friday 14:00 – 00:30, 1 in every 4 Saturdays.

Location: Dundas Spur, Portsmouth, PO3 5NY.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
• Ensuring the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Up to date CPC / Digi card.
• Desirable: previous waste management experience.
• Desirable: RCV experience.
