Intervention Teaching Assistant
Permanent contract, 30 hours per week, term time plus 1 week. Start date September 2026.Salary Scale D5-6 (£25,583 – £25,989) – actual salary £17,762 – £18,044 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Provide intervention support, 1:1 and small group sessions for SEND students across the school.
- Liaise closely with the Intervention Manager to ensure students receive a comprehensive offer and progress is monitored.
- Deliver high quality teaching support that promotes educational and personal development for learners.
- Collate and report on student progress to inform planning and intervention strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated with a positive can‑do attitude.
- Experience or good knowledge of supporting SEND students is preferred.
- Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with teachers, students and support staff.
- Ready to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and meet safeguarding requirements.
- Right to work in the UK and not disqualified under child‑protection regulations.
Other Requirements
- Must complete a declaration form to confirm no disqualification under the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations.
- Will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
