Community Healthcare Assistant – Restormel CCAH Team
Band 3 – Full time, permanent, part‑time 30 hours per week (including evenings and weekends).

Job Overview
We are looking for highly motivated Community Healthcare Assistants to provide nursing care to adults in their homes, including end‑of‑life care. The role offers opportunities for professional development through the community matrix. Previous care experience is essential.
Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence or be able to travel independently on a daily basis. Mileage is paid at Agenda for Change rates and travel time is incorporated into your shift.
Main duties
- Deliver personal care to patients at the end of their lives.
- Provide wound care and venepuncture.
- Support the registered nurse with direct care to patients and carers.
- Work independently within a defined geographical area on a flexible rota (8 am–10 pm).

Skills and Aptitude
- Work independently within time restraints.

Education and Qualifications
- Experience in a care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Care or equivalent experience.
