Help people move forward. Leave no one behind.

We’re looking for a compassionate, organised and motivated Employability Project Coordinator to support people from all walks of life into sustainable employment within Scotland’s thriving tourism, hospitality and catering industries.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference every day by helping individuals build confidence, develop life skills, gain industry experience and progress into meaningful work.

The role follows a daytime working pattern that may suit people looking for work during school hours.

About the Role

As an Employability Project Coordinator, you’ll manage your own caseload of participants, delivering a high-quality employability programme that includes recruitment, coaching, training and job brokering. You’ll work independently across Edinburgh while also being part of a supportive and successful national team.

You’ll be the consistent, trusted person supporting participants throughout their journey, building confidence, removing barriers and helping them take their next steps into employment or further education.

You won’t be expected to be an expert hospitality trainer, although experience in the industry will help. You’ll be supported by our team of senior hospitality professionals, who bring our practical training to life through industry-leading workshops in professional cookery, barista skills, bartending, legislation, restaurant service and hotel operations. While our specialist trainers focus on developing participants’ technical skills, you’ll concentrate on what matters most, supporting your trainees on the ground, coaching them to succeed, monitoring their progress and helping them overcome barriers to employment. Together, you’ll create an inspiring learning experience that prepares people for lasting careers in hospitality.

You’ll attend a monthly team development day at our Glasgow Head Office to share best practice, celebrate successes and continue your own professional development in Employability and Education.
