Class 1 Tipper Driver

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction and aggregates business based in the Walsall area, with a strong pipeline of ongoing projects across the Midlands. The Role

You will operate a Class 1 articulated tipper vehicle, transporting construction materials and waste products to and from sites, quarries, and customer locations.

Key Duties

• Safe operation of Class 1 tipper vehicles across multiple site locations
• Delivering aggregates, stone, sand, asphalt, and construction materials
• Carrying out muck‑away and waste removal work from active construction sites
• Completing daily walk‑around checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately
• Adhering to driver hours, transport regulations, and strict site safety rules
• Representing the business professionally on customer and construction sites

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous tipper experience preferred (construction/aggregates/muck‑away)
• Strong understanding of driver hours and transport compliance
• Excellent awareness of site health & safety procedures
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused approach
