The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities.
• Leading small‑group and one‑to‑one intervention programmes.
• Working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and pupil progress.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• HLTA qualification or substantial relevant experience.
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Confidence in leading whole‑class learning.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children.
