Principal Education is seeking reliable, committed, and engaging teachers to work on a flexible supply basis in secondary schools across London. This role allows you to choose when you work, giving you a strong work-life balance while gaining valuable classroom experience.

The role

• Provide cover in secondary school classrooms as needed
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons with minimal marking responsibilities
• Use our bespoke app to manage your availability quickly and easily

What you MUST demonstrate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or another recognised teaching qualification for the UK
• Right to work in the UK
• Reliable and punctual, able to accept bookings from 7 am
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and composure under pressure
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Overseas police clearance if lived abroad for 6+ months in the last 5 years
• Based in London or within a commutable distance

Pay and benefits

• £160-£195 per day, depending on experience
• Potential to increase daily pay based on consistently positive feedback from schools
• Opportunity to transfer from supply to long-term placements, paid according to the school’s pay scale
