Job Description
Full‑time role for Nanny, rota nannies with 1 week on / 1 week off (24/7). Start in mid August 2026. Long‑term partnership with a warm, loyal family in Notting Hill, London.
About the Family
The family has two school‑aged daughters (6 and 8 years old), a cat, two dogs and a rabbit. Mum works full time. The role blends sole and shared care and occasionally involves proxy parenting.
Responsibilities
- Provide sole or shared care for the girls during school hours, including preparing nutritious meals, tidying their areas, and managing logistics such as uniforms and school bags.
- Support homework and educational activities.
- Drive confidently for school runs, activities, play‑dates and, when required, travel with the family during holidays (Christmas, Easter, summer).
- Live in during rota weeks and live out during off weeks; live within a short commute of London.
- Conduct dog walking and general household errands; assist with light housekeeping as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant childcare experience.
- Previous experience with school‑aged children, especially 6‑8 year olds.
- Rota or live‑in nanny experience (preferred).
- Enhanced DBS, current, and on DBS update service.
- Paediatric First Aid certificate (within 3 years).
- Right to work in the UK; full passport for international travel.
- Confident driver with own vehicle; good driving record.
- Pet friendly; comfortable with two dogs, a cat and a rabbit.
- Non‑smoker.
- Reference history of long tenures with single families.
- Ability to run after children and manage physical tasks.
