Our client is an established technology company that helps large multinational organisations meet complex global tax and regulatory reporting obligations. Their platform sits at the heart of Pillar Two compliance, a new worldwide tax regime that has created a significant and growing book of work across their client base. With offices in Belfast and London, they combine deep domain expertise with modern technology, and the team is scaling to meet demand… which means genuine scope for a senior hire to shape how delivery is done.
The Role
This is a senior client facing position within the team responsible for implementing the company’s platform for major multinational clients. You will own complex engagements end to end, working directly with senior client stakeholders, bringing enough tax and accounting grounding to challenge requirements that do not stand up, and translating what clients actually need into technical implementations on the platform. The technology itself is accessible… the SQL involved is not complex… so the value you bring is judgement, domain credibility, and the ability to steer clients rather than simply execute their instructions. With multiple hires planned across the team, there is clear room to take on leadership responsibility as the function grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platform implementations for large multinational clients
- Own senior stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on Pillar Two and compliance reporting engagements
- Challenge client requirements constructively, applying tax and accounting judgement to spot what does not make sense
- Translate complex client requirements into robust technical implementations
- Shape delivery standards, processes, and best practice as the team scales
- Mentor and support less experienced delivery specialists
- Write and review SQL supporting client configurations and data workflows
- Collaborate with tax, product, and engineering colleagues to resolve complex client issues
What You’ll Need
Essential:
- 5+ years in a client facing delivery, consulting, or implementation role
- Solid grounding in tax and accounting, gained through professional services, industry, or formal study
- A track record of delivering technical implementations for clients
- The credibility and confidence to push back on senior client stakeholders
- Comfort learning new tools and working with SQL (deep SQL expertise not required)
- Based in or able to commute to Belfast (3 days per week) or London
Desirable / Nice to Have:
- Big Four or other professional services firm background
- Direct exposure to Pillar Two, corporate tax, or statutory reporting
- Experience mentoring or leading delivery teams
