We’re recruiting for a Transport Operations Support professional to join a busy distribution operation in Belfast. Shift Pattern
Rotating shifts:
06:00 – 14:00
08:00 – 16:00
14:00 – 22:00
22:00 – 06:00
Plus participation in a 5-in-7 Saturday rota, with some weekend working required.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the daily transport operation, helping to ensure deliveries are planned efficiently, drivers are supported and operational performance remains on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting transport planning and resource scheduling
Assisting with driver dispatch and debrief activities
Acting as the first point of contact for driver and customer queries
Maintaining accurate transport records and operational data
Producing KPI reports and updating operational systems
Monitoring fuel usage and supporting fleet performance reporting
Coordinating scheduled vehicle maintenance and asset records
Working closely with transport, warehouse and operational teams to ensure a smooth daily operation
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy operational environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience within transport, logistics, warehouse or distribution operations
Good geographical knowledge and an understanding of transport processes
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Excellent administration and data entry skills
The ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
A positive, proactive approach and strong customer service skills
