Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Interior Fit-Out
Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected commercial interiors contractor specialising in hospitality and leisure fit-out projects across the UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, accurate financial forecasting, and the successful commercial delivery of each project.
Working on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small refurbishment works to major fit-out schemes valued at up to £5 million, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and leisure venues nationwide.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in main contracting or interior fit-out.
You will be commercially astute, highly organised, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong financial control and delivering excellent client service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong commercial management experience across live construction projects.
- Background in hospitality, leisure, commercial interiors, or fit-out projects.
- Experience preparing valuations, managing variations, and negotiating final accounts.
- Good understanding of procurement and subcontractor management.
- Estimating or tendering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and commercial awareness.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
