Customer Operations Officer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Operations Officer to join a busy operations team. This role is responsible for supporting customers through key operational processes, ensuring documentation is processed accurately and efficiently, and delivering an excellent customer experience at every stage.
This is a Temporary, full time role.
Salary: £33, 672
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive operational support service to customers and applicants.
- Deliver a professional and high-quality customer experience at all times.
- Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and concerns, resolving issues wherever possible at first contact.
- Process customer documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Manage records relating to customer onboarding, account changes, valuations, legal documentation, payments, and other operational activities.
- Check the accuracy of legal and contractual documents and escalate any issues identified.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including solicitors, valuers, financial advisers, estate agents, lenders, and customers.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships to ensure smooth progression of customer cases.
- Work collaboratively across departments to achieve organisational objectives
- Contribute to the review and improvement of operational procedures and processes.
- Support project work and service improvement initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with data protection, information security, and organisational policies
Essential Criteria
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
Alternatively:
- Candidates without the above qualifications will be considered if they can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant administrative experience.
Experience
With qualifications:
- At least 1 year’s experience in an administrative role involving:
- Record keeping
- Document management and scanning
- Use of databases and spreadsheets
Without qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
