Technical / Quality Coordinator

Food Manufacturing | £28,000-£35,000 | County Armagh

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer looking to add a Technical / Quality Coordinator to their experienced technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an excellent reputation for quality, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, supporting audits and driving continuous improvement across production.

The Role

Working as part of the Technical team, you’ll help ensure products meet the highest food safety and quality standards while supporting compliance with customer and industry requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and maintaining HACCP and food safety systems

  • Ensuring compliance with BRCGS and customer standards

  • Assisting with internal, customer and third-party audits

  • Investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions

  • Conducting risk assessments and maintaining technical documentation

  • Working closely with Production and Operations to drive continuous improvement

  • Promoting a strong food safety and quality culture across the site

About You

You’ll already have experience within a food manufacturing technical or quality environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced production setting.

You’ll ideally have:

  • HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 (or equivalent)

  • Experience in a Technical, QA or Quality role within food manufacturing

  • Good knowledge of BRCGS and food safety legislation

  • Experience supporting audits and compliance activities

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience using 8-Step Problem Solving or similar continuous improvement tools

  • Food Technology or Food Safety qualification

  • Previous involvement in retailer or third-party audits
