An established agricultural business is seeking a Feed Manufacturing Operative to join its busy production team in Hilltown. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation that supplies high-quality animal feed to the agricultural sector.
The Role
As a Feed Manufacturing Operative, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient production of animal feed, ensuring products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor feed manufacturing equipment to maintain efficient production.
- Carry out quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Assist with basic machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Accurately complete production records and report any issues.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
About You:
- Forklift licence or relevant operating experience.
- Loading shovel licence or relevant operating experience.
- Knowledge or experience of HACCP or food safety standards.
- Understanding of food manufacturing or production processes.
- Mechanical aptitude or machinery maintenance experience is advantageous.
