Permanent position based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Salary competitive, dependent on experience.

We are a well‑established surveying company delivering accurate and reliable solutions across construction and infrastructure projects. We use modern equipment and digital workflows to produce high‑quality survey data and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PAS128 utility surveys to industry standard on site.
• Operate GPR equipment, CAT & Genny, and electromagnetic locators.
• Produce accurate utility drawings in AutoCAD from field data.
• Conduct CCTV drainage surveys and utility clearance investigations.
• Liaise with clients professionally on site and manage expectations.
• Complete accurate field notes, logs, and daily survey records.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and traffic management requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor in a field‑based role.
• Competent with CAT & Genny, GPR systems, and EM locating tools.
• Knowledge of PAS128 and utility survey standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for producing utility mapping outputs.
• Experience with CCTV drainage survey equipment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and professional client‑facing manner.
• Full UK driving licence required for site travel across the UK.
