Job Description:

Domus Recruitment are working with our client based in Bromley, Kent who are looking for a new RGN Deputy Manager. This is a 50‑bedded nursing home for Older People.

My client is a family run company that promotes an excellent culture and high quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Manager in managing daily operations of the nursing home.
  • Lead and supervise care staff to ensure excellent resident care.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Support staff training and professional development.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents.
  • Manage medication administration processes efficiently.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience within a nursing or care home setting.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Knowledge of elderly care, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on resident well‑being.
  • Experience with care planning and regulatory compliance.
