The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with both power and hand tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. We work in social housing sector. Along with Domestic and commercial works. Must be willing to travel in areas south of London, Brighton, Crawley, Bournemouth. We are based in Lee on the Solent. Responsibilities Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breakers. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as necessary. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
