Housing Disrepair Fee Earner nSalary: £30,000 – £50,000 DOE nLocation: Remote mostly, 1 day per week in Bolton n nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Housing Disrepair Solicitor, Fee Earner, Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join one of Manchester’s fastest-growing specialist litigation firms. nThis ambitious and highly regarded practice has quickly established an excellent reputation within the claimant litigation market and continues to experience significant growth. nBased in modern offices in the heart of Bolton, the firm offers an outstanding level of flexibility, requiring employees to attend the office just one day per week, with the remainder of the week worked remotely. nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a genuinely supportive team where progression is encouraged, workloads are strong, and there are clear opportunities to develop your career as the department continues to expand. n nThe Role: nCase Management: Manage your own caseload of claimant Housing Disrepair matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements and delivering excellent client care throughout. nLegal Drafting: Prepare letters of claim, pleadings, witness statements, court documents, schedules of loss, instructions to experts, and settlement documentation. nEvidence Gathering: Liaise with surveyors, medical experts, local authorities, housing associations, and other third parties to obtain evidence, assess liability, and progress claims efficiently. nLitigation & Negotiation: Conduct settlement negotiations, manage litigated matters, prepare trial bundles where required, and work proactively to achieve the best outcomes for clients. n nThe Individual: nApplications are welcomed from Legal Assistants, Paralegals, Fee Earners, Litigation Executives, Chartered Legal Executives and Solicitors. nPrevious experience within Housing Disrepair is highly desirable. nCandidates with experience in claimant litigation or wider civil litigation who are looking to specialise will also be considered. nConfident managing your own workload, with the level of autonomy dependent upon your experience. nStrong drafting, organisational and communication skills. nFamiliarity with the Civil Procedure Rules and case management systems such as Proclaim would be advantageous. nA proactive, client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail. n nThe Benefits: nMostly remote working – only 1 day per week in the office. nJoin a highly regarded, rapidly growing specialist litigation practice. nOpen to candidates from Legal Assistant through to Senior Solicitor level. nHigh-quality caseload with excellent levels of work. nGenuine opportunities for rapid progression as the firm continues to expand. nSupportive leadership team and collaborative working environment. nCompetitive salary based on experience. nExcellent long-term career prospects. n nApply: nIf you’re interested in applying for this Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee Earner role in Manchester, please send your CV
