About the Role

We are working in partnership with an NHS service in London to recruit an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive, forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Be Doing
n
- n
- nDeliver targeted speech and language interventions for children and young people across primary and secondary school settings.n
- nAssess communication needs using a range of appropriate tools and approaches, translating findings into clear, effective care plans.n
- nProduce high-quality reports written in accessible, child- and family-friendly language, demonstrating sound clinical reasoning.n
- nConfidently deliver training and advice to education staff and other professionals to support inclusive practice.n
- nWork collaboratively to support children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) within an SEN framework.n

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications
n
- n
- nRecognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)n
- nRegistration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)n
- nRegistered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)n

Skills & Experience (Essential)
n
- n
- nExperience working as a Speech and Language Therapist (or student SLT) in education settingsn
- nProven experience supporting children with SLCN at both primary and secondary school leveln
- nStrong knowledge of SEND and national guidance supporting schoolsn
- nExperience using a range of intervention approaches for school-aged childrenn
- nKnowledge and practical experience of assessment methods appropriate for this age groupn
