Role Overview: Join our dedicated team at Healsgood as a Band 5 Mammographer. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality mammographic services to our patients. You will work within a supportive and dynamic environment, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and contributing to the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

- n
- nPerform high-quality mammographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.n
- nEnsure the accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal imaging results.n
- nOperate mammographic equipment safely and efficiently.n
- nMaintain detailed and accurate patient records.n
- nCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.n
- nAdhere to all radiation protection standards and maintain a safe working environment.n
- nParticipate in continuous professional development and training sessions.n
- nContribute to the smooth operation of the mammography department, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.n

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- n
- nRegistered Radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).n
- nDegree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.n
- nCompletion of NHS mandatory training.n
- nProven experience in mammographic imaging (desirable but not essential for entry-level positions).n
