About the Role

We are recruiting a Patient Care Advisor to join a busy and supportive primary care team.
n
This is a key front-facing role, acting as the first point of contact for patients and ensuring they receive a professional, efficient, and compassionate service. You will play an essential part in supporting both clinical and administrative functions within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front Desk
n
- n
- nWelcome patients and visitors in a professional and approachable mannern
- nManage appointment bookings, repeat prescriptions, and home visit requestsn
- nDirect patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or servicen
n

Administrative Support
n
- n
- nHandle incoming and outgoing communicationsn
- nProcess scanning, filing, and data entry tasksn
- nManage online requests via SystmConnect and clinical systems such as SystmOnen
n
n
nn
Communication
n
- n
- nProvide clear, effective communication with patients, carers, and clinical staffn
- nMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyn
n

Operational Duties

- n
- nSupport opening and closing of the premisesn
- nEnsure adherence to security protocolsn
- nMaintain tidy and organised clinical and reception areasn
n

You will also participate in a rota covering reception, switchboard, and administrative duties, with flexibility to support evenings and occasional weekend sessions where required.
