About the Role

n

We are recruiting a Patient Care Advisor to join a busy and supportive primary care team.

n

This is a key front-facing role, acting as the first point of contact for patients and ensuring they receive a professional, efficient, and compassionate service. You will play an essential part in supporting both clinical and administrative functions within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

n

Reception & Front Desk

n

    n

  • nWelcome patients and visitors in a professional and approachable mannern
  • n

  • nManage appointment bookings, repeat prescriptions, and home visit requestsn
  • n

  • nDirect patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or servicen

nn

Administrative Support

n

    n

  • nHandle incoming and outgoing communicationsn
  • n

  • nProcess scanning, filing, and data entry tasksn
  • n

  • nManage online requests via SystmConnect and clinical systems such as SystmOnen

nn

Communication

n

    n

  • nProvide clear, effective communication with patients, carers, and clinical staffn
  • n

  • nMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyn

nn

Operational Duties

n

    n

  • nSupport opening and closing of the premisesn
  • n

  • nEnsure adherence to security protocolsn
  • n

  • nMaintain tidy and organised clinical and reception areasn

You will also participate in a rota covering reception, switchboard, and administrative duties, with flexibility to support evenings and occasional weekend sessions where required.
